6, 7,8, 2005. (Note: Players planned to present "Inherit the
Wind", directed by Jane Metzger and presented at Utica College.
However, due to scheduling conflicts, the program and venue had to be changed.)
"My Favorite Broadway: The Leading Ladies" - Conceived and
Directed by Daniel Fusillo, Music Director - Bonnie Hibbard. Presented at
Plymouth Bethesda Community Cafe. This performance was not a part of our
Subscription Season. It was presented as a fundraiser for the Rebuilding
Fund and raised more than $8000.00 (including proceeds from 50/50 raffles
conducted at the performance).
"Incorruptible" - Directed by Jay Salsberg. Presented at
Utica College's Strebel Auditorium. May 26-28 & June 2-4 2005.
"Players of Utica Hosts . . ." June 6 - August 29, 2005. For the
third year in a row, Players participates in Utica Monday Night. Players
programs have been coordinated by Kathy Leers. As part of UTICA
MONDAY NITE, Players of Utica hosts local talent from across the Mohawk
Valley at Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute Theater (MWPAI) and at Tiny's
Restaurant from June 6 through August 29, 2005. Performances start at
7:00 pm and will vary in length. Admission is free! This is a 100%
volunteer effort by Players of Utica and the hosted talent.

"Sweeney Todd - the Demon Barber of Fleet Street" - September 9, 10, 11,
2005. Directed by
Peter Loftus, Produced by Vince Scalise for Players of Utica. A special
production to benefit the Rebuilding Fund. Presented at Clinton
Central Schools Performing Arts Center.
Sponsored by Bank of Utica and College Loan Corporation. Special Guest, Len
Cariou gave the curtain speech during the September 10, 2005 performance and a
attended a pre-show dinner at O'Connor's Alexander Hamilton Inn. An acknowledgement
letter was received from Angela Lansbury with regrets that she could not attend
due to recent knee surgery. This performance was not a part of our
Subscription Season.

Joanne Yacovella as an education program for area youth. This was a
collaborative effort funded by Excellus Blue Cross/Blue Sheild in cooperation
with Cornell Cooperative Extension. This special education program was not a part of our
Subscription Season. Proceeds benefited the Players of Utica Capital Campaign.
