Synopsis:
Opening night on Broadway! What could be more exciting or funny especially when the director is a kleptomaniac, the leading lady is a paranoid drug addict, the help, Gus, wants to wear Lauren Bacall's mink coat and Joan Rivers is bitten in the mouth by a dog named Torch? And that's only the beginning as all the theatre people in Terrance McNally's farce called "It's Only a Play" wait for the opening night critic's reviews to appear in the papers. Oh, don't forget the lady NYC cab driver who delivers the paper and pizza!
